Wedding Photography at Miskin Manor Country Hotel near Cardiff

These are the comments made by Laura and Matt just after they saw their wedding photographs...

Highly Recommended

Our photographers Gary and Sue were highly recommended to us by our wedding venue, Miskin Manor, who have many of their photographs exhibited throughout the Manor house. Although we saw a few different photographers in the South Wales area, on arrival at Gary and Sue’s studio we instantly knew that this was a different standard of wedding photography altogether.

Pre-Wedding Shoot

We had a pre-wedding photo shoot in the December before our May wedding which was a really fun day and made us both feel relaxed in front of the camera, as well as getting to know both Gary and Sue a bit more. Seeing the results of the pre-wedding shoot gave us total confidence in Gary and Sue.

The Wedding

On our Wedding Day, Gary’s wicked sense of humour and Sue’s reassuring smile really helped us feel at ease. Rather than the standard wedding photos, Gary had us walking all over the grounds and in all different positions and the photos were truly unique. The group shots also added an element of fun to our wedding that everyone could join in and talk about afterwards.

The Honeymoon

We were thrilled to view our “Sneaky Peaks” whilst on Honeymoon and amazed when we returned two weeks after the wedding, and Gary and Sue had our photos ready to view. Re-living our Wedding Day by watching a slideshow of the photos was breathtaking. The hardest part was choosing which photos to have in our album as there was an overwhelming choice of spectacular shots. The photos truly captured the spirit of the day and will be something that we can treasure for ever. We are so happy that we had such a great team as our photographers.

thank you

Some of the other fabulous companies used by Laura and Matt on the day are listed below with a comment from Laura...

The Dress My wedding dress was “Daisy” by Sassi Holford, in ivory with the Daisy shrug and antique rose sash. I chose it in High Society, Cowbridge where I received five star treatment from the outset. The shop has an exclusive feel to it and is very spacious with a large changing room. With a one on one appointment you get one hundred percent attention and really feel well looked after.

Flowers The flowers were chosen from Bloomin’ Stylish, Pencoed. Sian at Bloomin’ Stylish really took care of us whilst we “ummed” and “ahhed” over flowers in the shop for hours trying to come up with the perfect bouquets and buttonholes. Sian surprised us on the day by finding peonies to put in the long and low arrangement for the registrars / top table because I had mentioned how much I love them. The colours of the flowers were amazing and really helped us achieve a vintage look.
